Sure, we could have come up with some sort of webtastic 2.0 cooler-than- cool name like Synergestic or Zemo or whatever. But what the heck does that mean? We wanted to portray our understanding of an economy and businesses that are on somewhat of a diet.

Thus: Porkchop - the other design agency. Porkchop is not just a name but a whole new business model. We modify open-source off-the-shelf platforms to create modular sites with powerful components while concentrating on the design, the site's message, and its usability. This simply cuts the fat. Yes, we have developers and programers, but they are reserved for highly customized web applications and software development.

Another area where Porkchop is lean is overhead. We have no interns sipping micro brews and playing Xbox in the break room on the clock. No high-end office space in the heart of the trendy district. And our days are not filled with continual meetings that take us away from completing your job in a timely manner. Of course we have some meetings, but we can assemble a team of copywriters, designers, and developers from across the country in a video conference and be done in less time it takes to round up and organize the Xbox-playing people in the office. We are a team of independents that work collaboratively, and we maintain a large network of committed contractors ready to offer their expertise. We are Porkchop. We are the other design agency.
